January 5, 2021 A Ripening Process-Jeremiah 15:15-18

People change with time. When one may be naive and immature, but under the nurture of the sun and water, one can transform into a meek and humble personality. So is the same for a new Christian under the influence of fellowship of mature and devout Christians, he will become mature and self-composed.

We can be softened through God’s transforming grace. One important thing is that if we commit to read the Bible and pray every day. Our personality and character will change over time if we let go and let God. In the scripture it said “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Dear God, the Scriptures feed me and protect me from sin. Help me to read them every day.
