The creation of mankind is the pinnacle of God’s creation of all things in the universe. (Genesis 1:31) “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.” Even human beings later sinned, the poet declared that (Psalm 139:14) “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Although we are deeply involved in sin, we are still God’s masterpiece, and God has not left us in sin. He redeemed us in Christ and remade the masterpiece in His hands, so that we might do good and glorify Him. Sometimes, I even forget that the creation of me by our loving heavenly father, and I am still reshaped in His hands. If I forget these truths, I will struggle with inferiority or self-pity. I think how God views us as He creates us because we are his beloved masterpieces and he has redeemed us in Christ. I am happy to be a creation in God’s hands! Father, thank you for reinventing me. Please help me not to be inferior or self-pity. Strengthen me and become the person you want me to be, because I am your masterpiece of salvation.
