September 2 The Whispering Gallery-Psalm 18:1-6,16-19

Many times we might not be lucky enough that we could have a turn around in time if we were notified we were in the wrong direction. Disaster can be imminent if we turn our blind eyes to the matter. We should be grateful that we are reminded or intervened at the right time instead of ignoring the whole business.

In the bible, James stresses the value of kind correction with these words, (James 5:20) “Remember this: whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”  Correction is an expression of God’s mercy. May our love and concern for the well-being of others compel us to speak and act in ways that He can use to “bring that person back.”

Dear Father, keep me from straying from Your truth and grant me courage to help bring back those who are wandering.
