June 30 Navigating Life’s Rapids – Psalm 32:5-11

There are many kinds of turbulence in our lifetime; such as loss of a job, loss of loved ones, marriage problem, family problem, failure of interpersonal relationship, business problem and financial problem. The list goes on. Is there any remedy to all these problems? Of course, we need someone who is wise enough to advise us.

Since life is full of challenges, do we give up or get depressed? Things keep changing that leave us no time to breathe because we are living in an extremely fast and complex world. We cannot even live without a cell phone. Due to the pandemic situation, we are no longer seeing a doctor face to face. We have to make an appointment with the doctor then he/she will consult what is the problem and from the phone call, he will take a preliminary prognosis. If the case is critical and urgent, then we have to go to a hospital for further evaluation. Things are not the same anymore. In order to survive, we have to accommodate the situation.

We need a skilled guide, a trusted voice to help us navigate turbulent times. The only solution is to look up to God for help and advice and prayerfully seek Him and learn to listen to Him too. And He will comfort us and He promises to counsel us with His loving eyes.

We can trust Him for his unfailing love and rest in His promise to guide us through life’s turbulent times.
