We don’t need to be a criminal or a serious law offender to be saved by Jesus. But we see from to time that people never return to God and acknowledge their past sins. Conversely, we heard about people who committed a serious crime and reflected their wrongdoing during the imprisonment or at the blink of the death sentence. Maybe this is human nature that one will never change except at the stage of the end of the rope. I simply don’t understand. Although imprisoned for more than four decades, this man who seemed beyond redemption finds hope in God and claims, “My freedom is found in one word: Jesus.”
Another example was the apostle Paul was transformed later became one of the most powerful witnesses for Jesus in the bible. The man who once plotted the death of Christians and then devoted his life to spreading the gospel. Redemption is always a miraculous work of God. Some stories are more dramatic, but the underlying truth remains the same: None of us deserves His forgiveness, yet Jesus is a powerful Savior! He saves for those who come to Him.
