June 11 Perspective from Above -Isaiah 48:5-11,17

When people were in some kind of trouble, no matter big or small. They always complained and also including myself. As some bigger more serious things occurred we would lose our heart and the world shattered. It is so common and it happens every day of our life. The first thing I would do is to pray to God to help me to solve the problem instantly, is it not that we want? I think we are all self-centred and we are so important. One time I imagined if I had all the money in the world like Bill Gates or Warren Buffett and I flew a plane 36,000 feet above the ground. What do we see on the ground, a big mansion is just a speck of dust? Further, I look for a person that is actually invisible if viewing at that altitude. Our money and power are just an illusion.

What I am trying to say is to see things from God’s perspective from above is that life is for His glory and purpose—not ours. Our attention is to be given to Him and His plans and to pointing others to praise Him too. To have God’s glory as our own life’s perspective opens a whole new world. Only He knows what we will discover about Him and what He has for us. He will teach us what is good for us and lead us along the paths we should follow.
