Proverbs 3:5-6 Directs, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” As we grow in faith, we grow to trust the Lord more deeply.

The Passover feast is to remind us of what God had done to rescue the Israelites from slavery in Egypt (Exodus 12:1–30). This also holds great meaning for Christ-followers too. It was during Passover, the night before the cross, that Jesus established His own memorial table. (Luke 22:19), “He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Every time we gather at the Lord’s Table to celebrate Communion, we remember that Christ rescued us from slavery of sin and provided us with eternal life. Should we remember the rescuing love of Jesus on the cross together?
