Have we praised God everyday, perhaps when we are in good mood or we have good luck or something. In (Psalm 34:1-4) “A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”
In Psalm 148 is a prayer of praise. The psalmist encourages all of creation to “praise the name of the Lord, for at his command everything was created” (v. 5), “for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens” (v. 13).
Though God invites us to bring our needs before Him and trust He hears and cares for us, He also delights in prayers of grateful praise wherever we are.
