Human’s emotions are unpredictable. It is something like the ocean waves and it can be up and down at large magnitude. Particularly for young children, their mood can swing very drastically and parents are troubled by the situation. It is really beyond our understanding
and help. No matter how bad it is. We can pray and ask Our Father to help and smoothen our
changing emotions. Only God understands.
The writer of Psalm experienced overwhelming emotions throughout his faith journey and recognized the benefits of praising the all-knowing Maker and Sustainer of all. (Psalm 147:1-6) “Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our LORD and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.” (Psalm 147:1-6) “ the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.”
When we’re struggling to make sense of our emotions, we don’t have to feel alone or discouraged. We can rest in the unlimited understanding of our unchanging, loving God.
