From time to time I seem to judge my family why they do certain things. In my opinion it is not wise, in the same way I do something they don’t agree with me either. I am not sure if it is our ego or something, so when things cool off I would retrospect what I have said or done or occasional temperament. I also remind myself not to do it next time.
Matthew 7:1–2 Says, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Hearing these words that I knew God reminds me of leaving the judgement in His hands.
We never know why people do what they do, maybe a habit or for a particular reason. But we know that the “word that goes out from God’s mouth accomplishes what He desires and achieves His purposes.
Isaiah 55:10-11 says, “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
We can use God’s words to strengthen our confidence in Him. When we’re facing stiff circumstances, may we trust that God is working even when we don’t see the final outcome. Heavenly Father, thank You for what You’ve revealed, which brings me hope, peace, and love. Help me to grow in my love for You.
