外面的環境可以很糟糕，有至高這居住的聖所必不動搖，因為有神的同在。祂是掌權的神。 目前我們在疫情期間的環境很令人擔心害怕，可是，我們屬於神的兒女，我們是聖靈居住的所在，我們有神的同在，有基督耶穌作我們的好牧人。因為我們可投靠這位三一的真神， 我們就可以不害怕。我們可以安心休息，英文將「休息」翻譯成「鎮靜」，不動搖的意思。因為我們知道耶和華是神。
願我們仰望這位掌管天地和萬國的神，安靜在祂裡面，享受祂的同在。處變不驚。

參考了一些聖經資料，知道詩篇46篇寫的是猶大希西家在位時的情況。那時是主前702年（列王記下18章）。北方以色列國被亞述王希拿基利圍困；南面猶大國以耶路撒冷為中心，作為神的僕人君王，希西家帶領百姓相信神是他們的避難所，自強自立。通過今天的靈修，看到萬軍之耶和華，在乎祂的子民、拯救他們出災難。聯係到今天的大瘟疫，我們就不要害怕，要仰望神、祂必與我們同在，哈利路亞。對於教會眾弟兄姐妹，大家一定很熟悉詩歌“主是我力量”。這首歌的歌詞如下。當我們唱這首歌時，就會想起神是我們的避難所。

It seems normal we feel dejected or desperate when we confront with difficulty or something insurmountable in our mere effort. But we can turn around with encouraging words and support. A friend of mine who had been diagnosed with cancer awhile back. But he was recommended to join a support group by the hospital social worker and that led him to a much better situation and morale in dealing with his illness. It has been a few years now, he becomes a person of a stronger and optimistic person. He even went to extra mile to support others who had the same illness. A feeling of being cared for and supported can help sustain us when we’re facing a challenge. In any case, we go through tough times and trials, we need to turn to God for help and strength.
