神給祂的子民，經常是不問做工如何，白白給子民一切的恩典。例如，我在信主之後戒煙就是一例，在那時，我沒做什麽事功啊。主招呼保羅爲主工作之前，這個原名掃羅的猶太人，抓拿基督徒，簡直就是教會的敵人，但是，主耶穌就在大馬色街上向保羅說話。當然，這不等於說，作爲神的子民，僅僅口頭信主，不知跟從爲何物的假基督徒。我們要常讀聖經，明白神的旨意，“不要作糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何”（弗5:17）。當神讓摩西帶領猶太人出埃及回迦南地時，其實可以走一條旱路的，但是神偏偏要他們過紅海。神的意念是想通過過紅海的神蹟來堅固猶太人的信心。
感謝主給我白白的救恩，讓我恩上加恩、力上加力。我要以神的旨意爲旨意，明白神道路的真意。

成為上帝的兒女是神賜給我們白白接受豐富的恩典。是神在祂的計劃中充充足足的賞賜。 使我們在基督裡有盼望，有聖靈的印記和同在。讓我們享受在祂裡面各樣屬靈的福氣。
感謝神在創世之前就揀選我們成為祂的兒女。願我珍惜這幅分，回應祂對我的厚恩和大愛。 緊緊跟隨，作主見證，榮耀主名。

From time to time my son would thank me for paying the dinner when I picked him up after work. Sometimes I felt a little annoying he kept saying that again and again. But I think it is a lot better than he takes it for granted. Also, he is my son and is part of the family and I don’t mind doing that. Same when I was young I never said thank you to my parents, because I was their son. My parents did that for me because they love me. Similarly, God loves every one of us because we are His children. Obviously, we should be thankful for God does all things for our good. We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. We simply accept His free gift, eternal life and have an inheritance waiting for us in heaven. What a wonderful gift!

以弗所書過去有看過，但今天看的時候，感覺叫我不要停在1章14節，正如保羅說的：“我還有未盡的話。”特別是14節後的那些“因此”。。。“所以”。。。神的話實在太奇妙。
感謝神，賜下祂的愛子及祂的話語，讓我們因信耶穌基督，可以白白地稱義；藉著聖經對我們說話。
